    Paul Lassanske: President & CEO of Southeast DME

    Paul Lassanske, President and founder of Southeast DME, is an engineer by education whose passion for his customers has helped him grow a highly-regarded, durable medical equipment repair and service business. With the ultimate goal of enhancing the quality of life for patients relying on home healthcare equipment, Lassanske and his staff have developed a team-oriented approach to doing business that has allowed his company to efficiently expand and grow its operations since its founding in 1997.

    Lassanske started Southeast DME after seeing the need for quality repairs and servicing of medical equipment in a regional VA hospital. Instead of having these facilities send their equipment to be repaired hundreds of miles away, he quickly learned and perfected the repair procedures and began servicing area clients.

    Because of his technical and service-oriented temperament, Lassanske also quickly realized the need for quality management controls and exceptional customer service within the home healthcare industry. In response to this need, he has focused the Southeast DME’s team to ensure that every customer’s need is met and exceeded on a consistent basis. Now, more than ten years since the company’s founding, Southeast DME serves customers throughout the United States with the same positive philosophy it extends to a customer down the road from the home office in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

    Southeast DME’s customer-driven culture reflects Lassanske’s own commitment to service, respect, teamwork and discipline. He delights in the relationships he has developed with his customers, employees and colleagues and plans to continue to lead Southeast DME until he no longer finds it enjoyable to get up and go to work every day. Considering the fun he is having with the company now, he won’t be leaving any time soon.

    Since its founding more than 10 years ago by company president Paul Lassanske, Southeast DME has grown at a rapid pace. In 2002, Southeast DME was the first company in the durable medical equipment industry to receive the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for its comprehensive quality management in the areas of operations, policies and procedures, technology, and customer service. Southeast DME continues compliancy to the strict ISO 9001 standard, superior managerial and organizational practices, as well as its outstanding customer service year after year.

    As a result of the company’s growth, Southeast DME is today undergoing a significant expansion of its corporate headquarters. Having added an additional 10,000 square feet to its Hodgenville, Kentucky facility in late 2006, the company is poised to accommodate steady increases in business in coming years.

    Southeast DME has been heralded by its customers as the leader in fast delivery and turnaround for repair and service of products in the HME industry. Southeast DME has also been recognized by its customers as a leader in customer service and satisfaction. In a recent survey, 100% of Southeast DME’s customers gave the company an 8 or above (on a scale of 1 to 10) for its quality of products and services. In the same survey, 90% of the company’s customers ranked Southeast DME a 9 or above for on-time delivery.
